Exit waste can provide a storm drain / soakwell cleaning service. We can do this by using one of our vacuum trucks to safely vacuum excavate the sand/silt and leaf matter that has built up over time. We can also remove contamination / accidental spillages from your pits/storm drains, and transport the waste to a disposal facility. Vacuum excavation is increasingly being used to clean storm drains, due to the fact most pits are regarded as confined spaces, and are not readily accessible to people, and also due to contaminates such as hypodermic needles which are increasingly being disposed of incorrectly down storm drains.
We can clean out storm water sumps, pump pits, ground water pump pits etc and recommend that this is done regularly, prior to winter. We can also jet wash out drain/storm pipes to 150mm in diameter.
